Castlewood Commercial Properties Ltd (Castlewood) and Linden Homes (Linden) are bringing forward plans to develop land off the A363 to the south west of the White Horse Business Park – as shown on the aerial below. As you may be aware, these sites have been proposed as an allocation for residential development by Wiltshire Council. Proposals include approximately 175 new homes and a care home, along with extensive landscaping, to soften development boundaries and create clear separation between the development and North Bradley.
In the New Year Castlewood and Linden Homes will be holding a public exhibition to speak to residents about the proposals, and would like to invite you to attend. The exhibition will be held on Friday 10 January at: North Bradley Progressive Hall Woodmarsh, North Bradley Trowbridge, BA14 0SX
On a drop in basis at any time between4:30pm and 8pm
The Parish Council's plans are currently on hold due to lack of funds. The total cost of the scheme is in excess of £40,000. The Parish Council applied to Wiltshire Council for substantive bid funding, but the bid was unsuccessful. The Parish Council are currently exploring alternative sources of funding.
Thank you to everyone who came to the Joyce Lanfear slide show evening - "A walk round North Bradley". Her Son Simon gave £500 that was raised on the evening to Dorothy House, in memory of his mother Joyce Lanfear.
Thank you all again for your support.
