There was an excellent turn out, which is so encouraging to know that so many residents are interested in the Neighbourhood Plan and all it includes. The questionnaires are being worked through at the moment and once completed will be included within the Neighbourhood Plan. A further consultation on completion of the Neighbourhood Plan will be arranged for you to comment on before it is presented to Wiltshire Council.Once again thank you for your continued support on the Neighbourhood Plan.
“COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT CONSULTATION: ‘Possible Neighbourhood Plan Sites’ is now running from March 8th to March 29th 2018.
Full Regulation 14 consultation lasting 6 weeks will take place later this summer. However, the community has this additional opportunity now to comment on site options in the community engagement now being held. Sessions will be held at North Bradley Baptist Church on Friday 16 March 5.30 – 7.30 p.m and Saturday 17 March 10.00 – 12.00 a.m & 2.30- 4.30 p.m.
The deadline for questionnaire responses is 29th March; however, we may be able to accept late response up until 5th April. Responses can be made in person at the events being held (see this above for details), via e-mail or letter (ideally using response forms available from the parish clerk) or direct to the parish clerk at:
It has not been decided whether sites will be allocated at all. However if any are, then they are likely to be aimed at meeting modest levels of growth for local needs only. The purpose of the report is to examine some possibilities and also to check to see if anyone wishes to suggest alternatives. Following community engagement on the report, the findings will go into the Neighbourhood Development Plan draft which will go out to formal consultation later in the summer.
Thank you to those of you who completed the Housing Needs survey. We need to provide robust evidence of housing need within the parish to counter the development proposals made by the local planning authority last summer. We received the results of the survey in February.There was a good response of 34% of replies received. The information you provided helped Wiltshire Council to compile the report which you can read by clicking on the following link.
